PADI Sidemount Diver

The PADI Open Water Side Mount Diver specialty course will familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving in double cylinders properly configured for open water side mount diving.

During the course, you dive with a PADI Professional in one of the newest specialties recreational diving offers.

The Scuba Gear You Use
- Mask, snorkel and fins
- Appropriate exposure suit
- Two complete regulator systems (one with a 7 ft hose)
- Sidemount BCD system
- Two independent cylinders
Both Motor City Scuba & Scuba and Snorkel Center offer the Hollis SMS100 (sidemount system) in rental for training purposes.
Prerequisites
You must be:
- A PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- At least 18 years old
